Topic for the show: The Beatles

What a show I have prepared for you!  I’ll be playing some of the best songs to have ever graced our airways. Like:

• The Best Songs of the Beatles
• Music by the Fab Four, as they rooted in skiffle, beat and 1950s rock and roll, their sound incorporated elements of classical music and traditional pop in innovative ways; the band later explored music styles ranging from ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock . As pioneers in recording, songwriting and artistic presentation, the group revolutionized many aspects of the music industry and were often publicized as leaders of the era’s youth and sociocultural movements. Most songs were written by Lennon-McCartney, some written by George Harrison.

I will discuss about their careers, their performances including Ed Sullivan Show and the Rooftop Concert, also the movies they did, the albums including Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, the White Album and Abbey Road, also Apple Records, and songs that were top hit singles, most were #1 in the US.
