My next podcast episode of ‘The History of Rock and Roll’ is scheduled for this Monday, December 11th.
In this episode, we’ll be diving into the world of Wings, one of the greatest rock bands formed back in 1971 in London by Paul McCartney and his wife Linda McCartney. Expect a comprehensive discussion of their music, including tracks from their albums, live performances, and special insights into the 50th Anniversary of their iconic album ‘Band on the Run.’
Additionally, we’ll take a moment to remember the prolific singer, songwriter, musician, and founder of two major rock bands, the Moody Blues and Wings, Denny Laine, who sadly passed away on December 5th, 2023, at the age of 79. We’ll honor his legacy by playing some of his most memorable music, spanning from his time with the Moody Blues to his solo career and contributions with Wings.
Tune in for a nostalgic journey through the music of Wings and a heartfelt tribute to Denny Laine.
Be sure to mark your calendar for our upcoming episode, and stay tuned for more rock and roll greatness! See you there!
