My radio show of Monday, March 6th, 2023 about Unforgettable Beatles Moments: the Music that Changed the World was such a fun and entertaining show.
We had the pleasure of welcoming great guests Dan Ealey, Charlie T. Walsh, and Seth Swirsky who joined us on our latest show to talk about this topic.
Dan Ealey shared special memories of meeting Paul McCartney and Wings in Middle Tennessee at a farm where they recorded “Junior’s Farm.”
Meanwhile, Charlie T. Walsh reminisced about seeing the Beatles at the Coliseum in Washington DC on February 11th, 1964, and shared memories of George Harrison’s sister Louise Harrison, who traveled with the Beatles on their first American tours in the summer of ’64, ’65, and ’66. Louise played a crucial role in establishing nationwide contacts and helping Brian Epstein secure distribution agreements with Capitol Records, as well as securing a meeting with CBS’s Ed Sullivan.
Seth Swirsky talked about his experience filming “Beatles Stories,” where he interviewed people who had crossed paths with the Beatles, including his own encounters with Paul, George, and Ringo.
