Abbey Road Studios is a recording studio located at 3 Abbey Road, St John’s Wood, City of Westminster, London, England. Made famous for being the sought after venue for innovating recording techniques of the 1960’s which were adopted by the Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Hollies, among others.
I’ll be playing music by the Beatles, and talk about songs and albums such as:
- Rubber Soul
- Revolver
- Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
- The White Album
We’ll spend some time discussing the Abbey Road 50th Anniversary. I’ll also play other artists that recorded at the Abbey Road Studios like:
- Cliff Richard
- The Shadows
- Johnny Kidd and the Pirates
- The Zombies
- The Hollies
- Cilla Black
- Pilot
- Pink Floyd, and also Beatles solos.
