1. 🎸 Joe Matera

Australian guitarist, journalist, and author — former lead guitarist of pop-rock hitmakers Geisha, now with Sweden’s Rough Rockers. Joe has penned 600+ published features since 1999, interviewing everyone from Aerosmith and Metallica to Queen, KISS, and Black Sabbath.

He’s toured and supported Mental As Anything, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Renée Geyer, Peter Criss, Bay City Rollers, Canned Heat, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Animals, and more, with several solo releases on European labels. We’ll talk guitars, road stories, and his new work on ABBA.

2. 🎟️ Steve Hackett

Virtuoso guitarist who powered Genesis from 1971–1977 across six studio albums, three live sets, and a string of singles before launching a rich solo career.

We’ll preview his upcoming tour, Best of Genesis & Solo, and revisit the tones, techniques, and songs that shaped progressive rock.

3. 🎶 Jimmy Herter

Chicago-bred, Arizona-based guitarist and bandleader. With The Rockin’ Jimmys, Jimmy worked with producers Andrew Gold and Kenny Edwards (Linda Ronstadt Band), shared stages with Talking Heads, The Romantics, and Greg Kihn, and delivered the Ultimate 60s Experience.

On the tribute circuit he portrayed Peter Tork in The Missing Links and George Harrison in Beatlemania Live, while also appearing with Jan & Dean and Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone.

4. 🥁 John Cowsill

Drummer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist best known from family hitmakers The Cowsills.

On the road with The Beach Boys touring band, John handled drums, keys, and key vocal parts originally sung by Al Jardine and the late Carl Wilson, and he has recorded and performed with Jan & Dean.

He currently steps out front as a guest lead singer with The Smithereens.
