Rock Music with Guest

My radio show on Thursday, December 1st, 2022 was about Rock Music

We played music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s including:

• The Monkees
• Elvis Presley
• Queen
• John Lennon
• Herman’s Hermits
• The Grass Roots
• Paul Revere and the Raiders
• And a few others.

We discussed the music of the Monkees and the great songwriting of Mike Nesmith, the Grip Weeds, and John Lennon from the Beatles up to his solo years.  We also talked about Queen as we remembered Freddie Mercury, Elvis Presley who changed rock and roll, and 60s bands of the Grass Roots, Herman’s Hermits, and Paul Revere and the Raiders.

And we played some songs that were sung and recorded by our special guest.

Hearing her stories was amazing.
