Throughout the show, we’ll feature legendary performers whose guitar work and songwriting inspired generations of musicians. Joining me for the first time is guitarist, music journalist, and broadcaster Oscar Jordan from Los Angeles, California. As both a performer and respected music writer, Oscar brings a unique perspective to the conversation, combining decades of guitar experience with extensive interviews and research covering many of rock’s greatest musicians.
We’ll discuss the artists who inspired him, his own musical journey, his live performances with his band, and we may even feature some of his original music during the show.

🎸 Oscar Jordan
Making his first appearance on the show, Oscar Jordan is a Los Angeles-based guitarist, music journalist, broadcaster, and educator whose lifelong passion for rock music has made him a respected voice in the guitar community.
As an accomplished performer, he’ll discuss his musical influences, experiences on stage with his band, and the artists who inspired his guitar playing. We’ll also feature some of his original music during the program.
Since 2001, Oscar has been a contributing writer for Vintage Guitar Magazine, interviewing many of the world’s greatest guitarists. His work has also appeared in Mojo, Music Connection, Premier Guitar, and Univibes magazines.
He is an AFI Screenwriting Scholarship recipient, host of the Oscar’s Guitar Shop podcast, former co-director of Los Angeles’ Black Rock Coalition, and an engaging on-camera personality whose musical interests span everything from Mozart to Kendrick Lamar.
