Canadian author and music historian discussing his acclaimed book Land of A Thousand Sessions: The Complete Muscle Shoals Story 1951-1985.
The book explores the legendary Muscle Shoals, Alabama music scene and its enormous impact on soul, rock, and country music.
Through interviews with more than 100 key figures and extensive archival research, Rob documents how this small Alabama town became one of the most important recording centers in music history.
