We’ll be playing Rock and Pop music, as well well as discussing two 60s bands in advance of their upcoming performances they’ll be doing in Florida and other places, which we are promoting:
- The Box Tops
- The Buckinghams
The Box Tops, are an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee. They’re best known for the hits “The Letter”, “Cry Like a Baby”, “Choo Choo Train,” “Neon Rainbows”, and “Soul Deep” and are considered a major blue-eyed soul group of the period.

The Buckinghams are an American Sunshine pop band formed in Chicago, who went on to become one of the top-selling acts of 1967, charting their only five top 40 hits in the U.S. with “Kind Of A Drag”, “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”, “Don’t You Care”, “Hey Baby (They’re Playing Our Song)”, and “Susan”.

Dave Zane: singer and lead guitarist, performed for the Buckinghams, Jay and the Americans, The Cryan Shames, The Outsiders, and a few others.
4) Rick Levy
Rick Levy: guitarist, tour manager, and bandleader. He was bandleader for Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone from 2000-2002, and tour and bandleader for Tommy Roe and Jay and the Techniques.
He’s now currently the guitarist and manager for The Box Tops.
