We explored every corner of The Monkees’ universe π: their careers π΅, the TV series πΊ, thrilling performances π€, and timeless albums π§.
As well as their incredible legacy featuring some of the greatest music from the 1960s. We dove into their life, music, and career, with special emphasis on their iconic album, “Headquarters.” We delved into Micky Dolenz’s live performances during The Monkees’ Celebration, while also taking time to remember the invaluable contributions of Davy Jones, Peter Tork, and Mike Nesmith.
Our show featured four esteemed guests. Guitarist Emeen Zarookian shared his experiences working with Micky Dolenz since 2021. Drummer and percussionist Rich Dart reflected on his memorable moments with Micky, Peter, and Mike, expressing his profound love for The Monkees. Micky’s sister, Coco Dolenz, offered a unique perspective on her brother’s life, her collaborations with him, and her fond memories and relationships with Davy, Peter, and Mike. She also shared insights into the beloved TV series, “The Monkees.” Finally, John Billings recounted his standout moments performing with The Monkees.
