My latest show, recorded on Monday, December 8th, 2025, was a heartfelt John Lennon Tribute, remembering John on the 45th anniversary of his passing on December 8th, 1980.
We played music from John’s incredible journey — from his Beatles years to his powerful solo work — celebrating the life, art, and spirit of one of music’s greatest voices for peace and truth.
A very special thank you to our amazing guests:
David Sheff for sharing stories from his landmark interview with John and Yoko in his book All We Are Saying, recorded at the Dakota, Central Park, and the studio in 1980;
Gary Van Scyoc for his memories performing with Elephant’s Memory alongside John and Yoko in New York, including the One to One concert, Sometime in New York City album, and TV appearances on Dick Cavett and Mike Douglas;
Laurie Kaye for her moving reflections on John’s final interview on December 8th, 1980; and:
Bob Gruen for his iconic photography of John Lennon in New York from 1971 to 1980.
It was an emotional and inspiring tribute to a man whose music and message still echo around the world.
