Bill Chadwick, played a crucial role in the Monkees’ success during the 1960s. He was a songwriter, TV show extra, studio musician, and confidant of the group throughout their entire run.
Chadwick’s songwriting talent was evident in many Monkees hits, including “If I Knew,” “French Song,” “Time and Time Again,” “You and I,” “If You Have the Time,” “How Can I Tell You,” and “Zor and Zam”. Following his musical work with the Monkees, Chadwick continued to play an important role behind the scenes. 2) Fred Velez
Fred Velez, is a devoted Monkees fan and accomplished author who has written extensively about the group. He is the author of two books on Monkees fandom, including “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You: The Monkees From A Fan’s Perspective” (2014) and “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You 2: The Monkees From International Fan Perspectives” (2020).
Velez’s passion for the Monkees shines through in his writing, as he provides a unique perspective on the group’s enduring legacy and influence. His books offer a detailed exploration of Monkees fandom, as well as interviews and insights from fans all around the world.
