We were thrilled to have Chris O’Dell (Miss O’Dell) as our guest. She shared incredible stories from her career as an assistant and tour manager, including her time as a secretary for Apple Records. Chris recounted her great moments with The Beatles, including the recording sessions and their iconic rooftop performance. She also shared her experiences living at George Harrison’s home at Friar Park and accompanying him on his tours, including the Concert for Bangladesh and the Dark Horse Tour.
Chris also discussed her work with Peter Asher as a record producer for James Taylor, her involvement with The Rolling Stones on their 1972 tour, Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue, the Crosby, Stills, and Nash Reunion tour, and many others.

Chris O’Dell!
We are excited to welcome back special guest Chris O’Dell! She began her remarkable career as an Apple Corps secretary and went on to become a personal assistant to musical icons and a rock ‘n’ roll tour manager.
Chris has had incredible moments with The Beatles during their time at Apple Records, witnessing the recording of “The White Album,” “Abbey Road,” and “Let It Be.” She even sang in the chorus of “Hey Jude” and watched their legendary rooftop performance.
Her involvement extended to George Harrison’s projects, including the album “All Things Must Pass,” the Concert for Bangladesh, and the Dark Horse tour.
Chris also worked with the Rolling Stones during their 1972 tour and assisted with the L.A. sessions for their double album “Exile on Main St.”
Additionally, she played key roles in Bob Dylan’s 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 1974 reunion tour. She collaborated with other legendary artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins, Linda Ronstadt, Queen, Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zeppelin, Santana, and the Grateful Dead.
Leon Russell wrote the song “Pieces Apple Lady” about Chris, and George Harrison penned “Miss O’Dell” in her honor.
We’ll be promoting her upcoming appearance at Fest for Beatles Fans in Chicago this August and her forthcoming film “Miss O’Dell.”
