Radio show for Monday, September 12th, will be on 60s Music.
Another good show on the 60s Music with four of our amazing guests: Billy J. Kramer and his music moments with the Dakotas. Billy played all of his hits from the UK and talked about his moments with the Beatles. Brian Epstein, George Martin and his TV appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show, Shindig and Hullabaloo, and concert film The TAMI Show, great interview with Carl Giammarese on his moments with the Buckinghams. Jim Yester gave such a wonderful interview on the Association as a comeback interview and Monkees fan. Finally, author Fred Velez had fun moments with the Monkees and his book A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You: The Monkees From A Fan’s Perspective, who saw them in concerts, discussed the TV series, and much more.

Billy J. Kramer is an English pop singer. With The Dakotas, Kramer was managed by Brian Epstein during the 1960s and scored hits with several Lennon–McCartney compositions never recorded by the Beatles, among them the UK number one “Bad to Me” (1963). Kramer and the Dakotas had a further UK chart-topper in 1964 with “Little Children” and achieved U.S. success as part of the British Invasion. Since the end of the beat boom, Kramer has continued to record and perform.
2) Carl Giammarese
Carl Giammarese from the Buckinghams played guitar and vocals.
The Buckinghams are an American sunshine pop band from Chicago. They formed in 1966 and went on to become one of the top-selling acts of 1967, charting their only five top 40 hits in the U.S. that year. The band dissolved in 1970 but re-formed in 1980 and as of 2019, they continue to tour throughout the United States.
