Artie Kornfeld is a songwriter who wrote songs such as:

  • “Dead Man’s Curve” for Jan and Dean
  • “The Pied Piper” for Crispian St. Peters
  • and “The Rain, The Park and Other Things” for The Cowsills.

He also held the position of Vice President at Capitol Records and worked as a record producer. He is best known for his role as a music promoter for the Woodstock Festival in 1969.
