My latest podcast, recorded on Monday, December 15th, 2025, was a fun and entertaining show all about 60s & 70s sounds. I was packed with great music from rock, pop, soft rock, and more.

A big thanks to my two fantastic guests:

Leland Sklar was a joy to have on, sharing stories from his legendary career as a session bassist with The Section and The Immediate Family, and his work with James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Phil Collins, Jackson Browne, and many others.

Chuck Harter was incredibly informative, talking about The Monkees, the documentary Hey, Hey We’re The Monkees, his Monkees tribute band The Missing Links, and his personal moments with Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz.

🎸 Greatest Session Musicians – The Unsung Heroes of Rock! 🎸

My latest podcast, recorded on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, shined a spotlight on the Greatest Session Musicians, the incredible talents behind some of the biggest hits in rock and pop history.

We focused on The Wrecking Crew, the legendary Los Angeles group of studio musicians who played on hundreds of Top 40 hits throughout the 1960s and 1970s, working with artists like The Beach Boys, The Mamas and The Papas, Elvis Presley, and Simon & Garfunkel. Their musicianship helped define the sound of an entire generation.

We also explored The Immediate Family, the powerhouse collective of session legends including Danny Kortchmar, Waddy Wachtel, Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel, and Steve Postell. They shaped the warm, rich sound of the 1970s singer-songwriter era with artists like James Taylor, Carole King, and Linda Ronstadt.

It was a fascinating and heartfelt tribute to the musicians who brought the songs we love to life from behind the scenes.

🎧 Don’t miss it! Tune in now for this special episode honoring the true architects of classic rock and pop!
