The show will focus on recording engineer and producer Tom Dowd, who works for Atlantic Records and was credited with innovating the multi-track recording method. Dowd worked on a veritable “who’s who” of recordings that encompassed blues, jazz, pop, rock and soul records, and different artists he produced and record engineered for Ray Charles, Bobby Darin, Aretha Franklin, The Allman Brothers Band, Cream, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Drifters and others.

I’ll play different artists from Atlantic Records, also the life and music on Eric Clapton, one of the great singer, songwriter and guitarist on rock music and blues music, his life with the Yardbirds, John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, and Dereck and The Dominos, also songs like Layla, I Shot the Sheriff, Wonderful Tonight, Tears in Heaven, and more, some different rock artists and some blues on BB King, the Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Eagles, Tom Petty, Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Chuck Berry, and much more form the 50s, 60s and 70s and some 80s.

Special guest: Chris Reynolds, lead singer from South Florida’s rock band Preservation, he use to be an assistant for Tom Dowd, also knew Gregg Allman, and he taught playing guitar by Joe Walsh. He’ll talking about rock and roll, Clapton and Tom Dowd and others with me, and another guest I might have on is my professor at Lynn, also a bass guitar player from Preservation Road is Dr. Robert Watson.
